Capitanes land Rich Polanco

Capitanes-de-la-Bahia (LDC) landed 25-year old 203cm forward Rich Polanco (college: S.Dakota) for new season. Polanco played last summer at CDP Domingo Paulino Santiago in the Santiago League. LDC will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time.

He represented Dominican Republic at the World Championships U19 in Polancoraklion (Greece) eight years ago. His stats at that event were 2 games: 2.0ppg, 2.0rpg.

He has played also professionally in Colombia (Team Cali and Storm).

His team made it to the Dominican Republic Santiago League Semifinals in 2021.

Polanco graduated from University of South Dakota in 2020 and it will be his fourth season in pro basketball.
